Defining the Move
Time in Charlotte will not be defined in how well I play, how much money I make, or how well my marriage is doing.

Do you believe in Angels?
Angels? If you search the Bible for the word 'angels' dozens and dozens of listings come up where they are mentioned. Are they present today? How do you know if you see one? I don't know and I fear to think of the scenarios God would utilize an angel in my life today.
But, if they are present and they do enter our lives.... well, I am sure I met one tonight.
I met a guy named Marquis at our pick up game tonight. He talked. He preached, rhymed, predicted, and storytold. He was a wrestler, fireman, CMT scholar, and pursuing the profession of a preacher. He played. He could not shoot, pass, or dribble. He took the liberty of getting a drink of water during several dead balls.... but he played. After playing, he talked again. Something happened when it was time to leave and what do you know the car he was riding in did not start so he had no ride. I battled in my heart then volunteered to take him and his boy home. He got in the front seat as numerous supplies fell out of his backpack and he farted as he got in my jeep. We all talked about life and God on the way to his house and it got to a point with me where whatever he said I disregarded as noise. He asked for my cell phone and made several calls to tell people that he was out of minutes and to call him back on his house phone in 20 mins. I began to reach my limit. We finally pulled up to his house, and his boy thanked me and went inside. But, Marquis asked me to make a text for him on my phone. I got his message sent and was ready to leave quickly. Then he looked at me and asked 'Can I make one more phone call?' I said, 'No, your good. See ya man.' He looked at me and said "oh...ok. Ok." I had cracked and reached my limit, I gave to a point and was done giving. I felt something tell me to give more,s o I handed him my phone and he made his call quickly. Before he got out of the jeep, he said "Thanks man, anything you need, I got you. You are my boy no matter what." I was very humbled. I thought maybe this was God pushing me to show me my own heart. We can always grow, we can always make an effort. And to some people, it makes all the difference in the world. Marquis the angel. Who knows.

Testify
"God can testify how I long for all of you with the affection of Christ Jesus." -Philippians 1:8
Paul says some cold, bold, inspiring things, and this verse is right up there with the boldest of them. What can God TESTIFY to in my life? One thing that Paul felt so strongly as to speak on behalf of God that without a doubt Paul could be convicted of longing for brothers and sisters in the faith with the love of Christ. If I were to speak on behalf of God to convict me with something beyond a reasonable doubt it would be that I want to do what is right in God's Eyes. Period. 100%. Done.

My Ministry
Jesus lead His ministry for about 3 years once He came down from being tempted Satan. Researchers believe He was age 30 when He began and 33 when He was crucified. From the scriptures Jesus had a variety of followers and varied in numbers depending on the time. He encouraged, rebuked, listened, prayed, lead others- always at the right times in all situations. This is the model for our world as long as we exist.
Ministers, coaches, teachers, managers, fathers, president's. All have a ministry. I have been a captain, led Bible Talks, Bible studies, began husbandry... I've done some good, and I've done some dirt. One thing is guaranteed: I will always have "My Ministry". This ministry is every one that I come in contact with daily. It doesn't matter if I live in Columbia, Sammamish, or Charlotte, I will always have My Ministry wherever I am in this world.
